Since I got my first sampler I've been obsessed with collecting sounds. Here are a few samples I've recorded and collected over the years. All files are in 16 or 24 bit .wav stereo format, so they can be quite large.

If you can't find what you're looking for, there's a large source of royalty-free sounds at the Freesound Project. This sitee has forums and a Remix tree where members can interact by posting altered versions of sounds from the site.
